nbn™ Fibre & HFC services are offered to premises that are directly connected to the nbn™ network via optic fibre or Coax. nbn™ Fibre & HFC services are capable of offering ultra fast speeds up to 1000/50mbps!
Where a premises is not already connected to the FTTP or HFC service, nbn will install the necessary infrastructure to connect you. There is typically no cost for this connection to take place if it is the first connection. nbn™ will provide the necessary hardware to terminate the service at your premises.

Getting connected to nbn™ Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)
Provided that your home or business is with the nbn™ Fibre footprint, nbn™ uses fibre-optic directly from the nbn™ network to your home. A network termination device is installed inside your home by an nbn™ approved installer. Your connect your devices to the internet via a router which connects to the NTD.
Installation of a FTTP service is provided at no cost.
Getting connected to nbn™ Hybrid Fibre Coax (HFC)
If your home or business is located with the nbn™ HFC footprint, nbn™ coax cable with from an aerial connection or a local node to connect to your home. A network connection box is provided by an nbn™ approved installer. Your connect your devices to the internet via a router which connects to the connection box via ethernet. Cable. Installation of HFC is provided at no cost.
