**To use a standard telephone handset, you will require a compatible modem/router with VoIP capability, or a separate VoIP device known as an Analogue Telephone Adaptor (ATA) to connect to your modem/router to which your standard telephone will connect to. Alternatively an independent VoIP telephone can be used.
Residential VoIP services are subject to our Fair Use Policy of 500mins per extension. Not permitted to be used on a PBX system, or for use as tele-marketing, call-centre, downstream call termination or Auto-Dialers. Residential VoIP is suited to home users and small business / home office. There is no SLA for Residential VoIP services. Supported devices include standard Voice ATA’s and VoIP handsets. Service may also be used with softphones, however limited support is provided due to the nature of softphone configurations.
Customers using our Residential VoIP service on a SkyMuster Plus, or SkyMuster Premium are recommended to ensure their service has a Static IP option applied.
